Sharvari brings over 17 years of experience leading programs and partnerships across public health, climate change, and governance. Her core work sits at the intersection of policy, people, and purpose, turning ideas into action and building teams that drive lasting change.

She began her career as a journalist with The Hindu Business Line and The Indian Express, before moving into the social sector, where she has worked across non-profits, foundations, and social impact consulting. Her journey started at The Antara Foundation, where she led Advocacy & Communications and community engagement initiatives, before moving to MicroSave Consulting (MSC), where she led programs and solutions for donors and governments, partnering closely with civil society and media.

Most recently, she was Head of the Royal Rajasthan Foundation, the social equity arm of the IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals, focused on women’s empowerment and climate outcomes.

She holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, a Master’s in Public Policy and Management from IIM Bangalore, and a Master’s in Economics from Maharaja Sayajirao University.

Sharvari now rejoins The Antara Foundation to lead Organizational Excellence, working with teams across TAF to strengthen people development, culture, and institutional capacity.

Side note: Sharvari loves long walks, is a budding gardener (fingers crossed her plants survive), enjoys binge-watching home tours, and can never say no to a trip to the hills.

“The best solutions to complex problems often come from those closest to the issues.”
