Mr. Karthik Ram is a social impact, philanthropy and international development leader with 14 years of experience spanning philanthropy, strategy consulting, and social impact startups. He is currently heading Clean Air Fund’s India portfolio, directing a $3 million annual grantmaking budget, to accelerate air quality action across government systems, markets, philanthropy and civil society. Mr. Ram, has experience of working at the intersection of climate, health, and economic policy with a focus on shaping evidence-led interventions, aligning stakeholders and mobilising resources. Prior to joining Clear Air Fund, Mr. Ram was the CEO of Development Solutions from October 2021 to January 2025, where he led a multidisciplinary advisory and research organisation supporting philanthropic foundations, non-profits and social enterprises across sectors including health, climate and livelihoods. He has also worked with Dalberg, Deloitte Strategy and Operations Consulting, Teach For India and The Antara Foundation. Mr. Ram holds a PGDBM from IIM Bangalore and a BBA degree from Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies.
