K. V. Eapen is a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer with over 35 years of experience in public service, spanning leadership roles in governance, finance, and international policy. He served as Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministries of Personnel and Statistics, and as Additional Chief Secretary in Assam. Internationally, he represented India and neighboring countries at the IMF in Washington, contributing to G20 financial architecture discussions. Eapen has held board positions at Union Bank of India, NABARD, IFCI, PTC India, and chaired power sector companies in Assam. Most recently, he served as an Administrative Member of the Central Administrative Tribunal. A graduate of St. Stephen’s College and Delhi School of Economics, he also holds advanced degrees in economic policy and management from the UK and MDI Gurgaon. He continues to mentor civil service aspirants and advise public-interest organizations.
