TAF is a non-profit start-up which works to transform India’s public health system, currently focused on maternal and child health, including nutrition. We are a field-based implementing organization, working in some of its most far-flung villages and marginalized communities.

We are looking for

  • Program officers who are passionate, bubbling over with ideas, strategic in approach, hard-nosed with data and enthusiastic to learn.
  • We seek someone with 2-5 years of work experience in other development organizations, corporate organizations, or management consulting. This person should be adept in handling large volumes of data, managing diverse stakeholders and leading initiatives on their own.
  • Will be responsible for running our program end-to-end in 1 block (covering 150-200 villages, pop: >1.5 lakhs). S/he will be the leader of their area and expected to work under the principle of ‘freedom with responsibility’. Role specifics

As a Program Officer, your role will include (but not limited to) the following-

  • Plan and implement our interventions end-to-end in an integrated manner
  • Independently plan activities, trouble-shoot issues and conduct extensive field visits on daily basis to different areas of the block; Monitor the program routinely
  • Continuously ideate and analyse data to improve program delivery and introduce new initiatives
  • Maintain strong relationships and work closely with village/block/district government officials to ensure quality delivery and sustainability of the program
  • Develop trust and bonds with frontline workers and community to ensure quality delivery and sustainability of the program
  • Contribute to overall organizational needs and vision outside the field and collaborate with team members from different locations/departments
